Chloe's COS109 Adventure!

Hi! My name is Chloe :)

I am currently taking COS109 with Professor Kernighan. I don't have any experience doing coding like this, but I can't wait to learn! When I am not in class, I love to hang out with my friends, sing, and take walks to clear my mind. I am originally from North Carolina, but I get the blessing of calling Princeton my home for the next four years!

I have a couple favorite colors: forest green, purple, and sky blue! But since the background is sky blue, I will use midnight blue instead! :) I really like listening to music as well! I mostly listen to folk pop and other songs that generally set a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Here are some of my favorite songs! Bloom by The Paper Kites and Beautiful Boy by John Lennon.

I also really like watching TV shows too! I prefer more light-hearted comedic shows, but also sometime venture beyond that and watch some Dramas.

My Top 5 TV Shows:

  1. Parks and Recreation- The characters are so wholesome and hysterical! I love how each episode can stand alone, but the continuous story as a whole still progresses. I always find myself coming back to Parks and Rec to unwind! (link to picture on Insider article)

  2. Hometown ChaChaCha- A really wholesome Korean Drama romcom (which I LOVE)! The cast is incredible, especially the supporting ensemble! The storyline is super sweet and it's just a really easy watch. (link to picture on Her World Singapore article)

  3. Modern Family- Modern Family is absolutely, positively hilarious! There is a lot of yelling and shouting (as families do hahah!) but its a bit harder to unwind to, but still a top tier show! I think the characters are slightly less dimensional as Parks and Rec, but I love it still! (link to picture on Oregon Live article)

  4. The Bear- This is totally opposite of what I normally watch, but the writing and cinematography is absolutely phenomenal. The intensity of the scenes captivates me. It also really makes me appreciate the culinary arts a lot more and the painstaking process it takes to succeed in it. (link to picture on GQ article)

  5. Late Night with Conan O'Brien- Conan has a unique charm to his personality that radiates through the screen. Although the show ended, I love watching old clips of his show, specifically his remotes! I think it was truly before its time and almost a time capsule that reflects on simpler times. At the same time, I think the show is truly timeless and will always be a pick-me-up when I need a good laugh! (link to thumbnail on Youtube)
